Spring inspiration │Let the sun shine

It's the first day of April and spring is here, time to drink in the sun and live in the light, so today I am focusing on the colour green representing balance, harmony and growth.

More spring inspiration to tempt you to get out that paint brush, change your decor, and think about the garden area. Pack away your woolly jumpers, although best to leave a couple out! And revisit your last season’s spring/summer wardrobe, and fingers crossed we have not put on too much weight over the winter months, otherwise, help! Where is the work-out kit?

Think colour.

 Holi festive is a Hindu tradition it is celebrated at the end of winter and on the last moon in March. The festival is filled with dancing and singing as revellers throw brightly coloured powdered paint into their air drenching themselves in colour in open streets, parks and outside temples. It is an important time where people of all classes, ages and genders come together to mark the occasion.

Spring time my favourite time of the year, everything becomes alive again, animals shred their winter coats ready for the warmer months and we start shredding our layers of clothes exposing our pale and weathered beaten skins to the elements, we get out in our gardens, spring clean our houses, open up the windows, pack away the winter clothes and reintroduce ourselves to the spring/summer wardrobe and find things we forgot we had, nothing wrong with last seasons! 
We buff, wax, polish our bodies, bring colour back into our lives and we may even decide to re-decorate our homes.
